Chairman Zvizdić with IMF Representatives

Chairman of the Council of Ministers fo Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr Denis Zvizdić and Minister of Finance and Treasury of BIH Vjekosav Bevanda received today in a farewell visit Head of Mission of the International Monetary Fund for BIH Ron van Rooden. 

On this occasion, Chairman Zvizdić thanked for cooperation, support and professional relation towards the State and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ron van Rooden thanked to Chairman Zvizdić for an extraordinary  cooperation and high degree of commitment for productive cooperation. He said that it was the period of time in which seven IMF Stand-By Arrangements were realised, adding his hopes for the continuation of the cooperation.

He emphasised the importance of economic reform agenda, saying that he is encouraged by reform processes visible in BIH, especially though adjustment of domestic legislation with the European standards.

Chairman Zvizdić and Minister Bevanda informed the Head of Mission of a fact that teh Council of Ministers has unanimously adopted a Framework Budget Document, Global Fiscal Framework and Public Investments Programme for 2016-2018, and that BIH will have 2016 Draft Budget  prepared by the ned of this month.

Van Rooden introduced a new Head of Mission of IMF for BIH Naadem Illahi and IMF Representative  in BIH  Francisco Parodi.

Chairman Zvizdić welcomed Illahi and Parodi to BIH, expressing his hope for the continuation of good and high quality cooperation.
