Chairman Zvizdić with Head of IMF Mission

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked with Head of the International Monetary Fund Mission Nedeem Ilahi on the activities realised thus far, as prescribed by the IMF Letter of Intent. 

Chairman Zvizdić briefed Ilahi on the reform processes, being implemented in BIH, saying tat righty structural measures defined under the Letter of Intent gave momentum to the IMF Arrangement. They also discussed a number of important issues linked to the continuation of reforms and consolidation of the BIH financial sector.

Head of IMF Mission Nadeem Ilahi said he is satisfied with the progress of the agreed reforms implementation. They agreed that the realisation of agreed-to tasks from the Letter of Intent represents the issue of serious arranging of financial and fiscal systems, and that structural reforms at all-levels should take place in the period to come.

Chairman Zvizdić said he expects visits soon by technical teams to support implementation of the agreed measures.

The IMF Mission will stay in BIH on Nov3ember19-22, 20’6, in order to review the Stand-By Arrangement.

The meeting was attended by IMF Resident Representative in BIH Francisco Parodi.
