The Qatar Airways made yesterday the first direct flight Sarajevo – Doha, and thus Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital got connection, with one stop in Doha, with over 150 world business and tourist destinations.
Chairman Zvizdić thanked to the State of Qatar for tis continued support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as to the Qatar Airways company, which, realising this important project, enabled further strengthening of business ties of the two countries and development of tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He briefed Director Al baker of the current situation in our country, as well as of the priorities of the Council of Ministers and economic potentials of BIH.
The Qatar Airways Executive Director expressed his pleasure for Sarajevo entered the world grid of destinations of the company. He said that the aim of the company is to bring as many tourists to Bosnia and Herzegovina as possible, and expressed his interest for introduction of flights to Sarajevo on daily basis. He said that BIH hss to continue the investments to infrastructure in order to increase communication capacities for the benefit of tourists inflow.

Chairman Zvizdić said that establishment of a direct air line is just the first step in further development and strengthening of relations between the two countries. He stressed that the interest of BIH is to strengthen business relations, attract investments and create jobs, in der to keep young people to build their future in their own country.
The meeting was attended by BIH Ambassador in Qatar Tarik Sadović and Ambassador of the State of Qatar in BIH Rashid Al- Kawari.
