Chairman Zvizdić Talks with Prime Minister of Kingdom of Norway Erna Solberg in Oslo

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked in Oslo with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway Erna Solberg and informed her of the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Prime Minister Solberg thanked to Chairman Zvizdić for an opportunity to address  at a concert organised on the occasion of commemoration of the 20th  anniversary of genocide in Srebrenica.

Chairman Zvizdić said Srebrenica must be a turning point in attitude of Europe in relation to Bosnia and Herzegovina and of Europe and the world towards developments in the Balkans, which may impair BIH efforts to create a state of permanent peace, prosperity and stability, which is the genuine wish of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Prime Minister Solberg and Chairman Zvizdić stressed that the relations of Norway and Bosnia and Herzegovina are very good and that Norway firmly supports BIH on its way towards the EU and NATO. They also discussed strengthening of economic cooperation.

Chairman Zvizdić said that the Council of Ministers of BH improved dynamics of all the processes relevant to an accelerated fulfilment of conditions for accession to the European Union, i.e. for obtaining the candidate status. Prime Minister Solberg congratulated for recent taking effect of the Stabilisation and Accession Agreement. Chairman Zvizdić said that coming to force of the Stabilisation and Accession Agreement made BIH a step closer to  the European perspective.

Prime Minister Solberg expressed her interest for the situation in the Western Balkans, stressing that the regional cooperation and good neighbourhood relations are very important to strengthen, to result in improvement of living conditions of all citizens.

Chairman Zvizdić thanked to Norwegian people and State for assisting Bosnia and Herzegovina during the war and in the post war period the best way possible both in BIH and Norway, providing refugees with jobs and possibility to work and live in a dissent way.
