Chairman Zvizdić Talks with President of Macedonian Assembly

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met today in Skopje with President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia Talat Xhaferi. 

The two discussed the bilateral cooperation and promotion of political relations. It was concluded that the relations between the two countries are very good and friendly, without outstanding issues, and it was stressed that both countries are interested for the improvement of overall bilateral relations, especially the economic relations and economic cooperation.

Chairman Zvizdić informed President of the Macedonian Assembly Xhaferi of the current political and economic developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He noted the reform implementation and stepping-up the European road as the priorities of the Council of Ministers activities. He said that BIH, by handing over answers to the European Commission Questionnaire showed its willingness, knowledge and credibility to obtain the candidate status.

He highlighted that it is important to mention the intensification of cooperation between BIH and Macedonia in the integration processes and approximation to the EU by way of South-East Europe Cooperation Process (SEECP) and Council for Regional Cooperation (RCC).
