Chairman Zvizdić Talks with EP Rapporteur Dan Preda

Chairman Zvizdić informed Dan Preda on the current political situation in BIH, and said that this year’s work programme of the Council of Ministers incorporates all enactments recommended in the previous progress report. Speaking of the economic reforms agenda he said that its adoption will produce a new economic energy for BIH. He underlined that the Council of Ministers of BIH is opted to the European Integrations, and that path also presumes underlying effort to develop sectors with comparative, i.e. competitive advantages, which will necessitate financial support.
Chairman Zvizdić said that the Council of Ministers of BIH has made a breakthrough in the rule of law segment and it works intensively on combating crime, corruption and extremis and terrorism. He said that the activation of MAP is extremely important for BIH and that he expects agreement of NATO members on it by the end of this year.
Chairman Zvizdić and Den Preda shared their hope that the economic reforms agenda will be signed by all level authorities and that the BIH will set off on the road of progress.
The meeting was attended by Head of Delegation of the European Union and EU Special Representative in BIH Lars Gunnar Wigemark.
