Chairman Zvizdić Signs Protocol to SAA in Brussels
12/14/2016
Vijeće ministara Bosne i Hercegovine
Chairman Zvizdić thanked to Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico for a friendly support to the European integrations of BIH and to supporting the enlargement process during the Presidency of the Republic of Slovakia over the European Union.
Chairman Zvizdić expressed his thanks also to the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and his assistants for a very constructive role of the European commission in the process of the EU integrations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, saying that these negotiations showed that BIH has professional and technical capacities for negotiations.
By signing of the Protocol accompanying the Stabilisation and Accession agreement, Bosnia and Herzegovina completed a very productive exercise with a notable progress on its European integrations way. The signing of the Protocol is an integral part of the integration process of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the EU, and finalisation of the process is one of three key prerequisites ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina for insuring the continuation and intensifying of the European integrations process. Together with the economic reforms, rule of law and combating against all forms of crime, terrorism and corruption, and coupled by strengthening of the regional cooperation, the process was a supreme priority of the incumbent Council of Ministers of BIH.
The beginning of the Protocol application is expected in February 1, 2017.
