Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked today in Sarajevo with US Ambassador in BIH Maureen Cormack. The exchanges views on the current political and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Chairman Zvizdić briefed Ambassador Cormack on meetings with high officials of the State Department, IMS and World Bank during his visit to the United States. He said that attending to the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Banks was extremely useful, and that the Council of Ministers of BIH will continue to work intensively with the international financial institutions supporting the structural reforms implementation, which is even more beneficial than the funds BIH is about to receive.

Ambassador Cormack expressed a full support of the United States of America for the Council of Ministers of BIH-led activities strengthening the European Union and NATO membership prospects.

Chairman Zvizdić thanked for the support, saying that the USA is the one of major friends and most important foreign-policy partners of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Both Chairman Zvizdić and Ambassador Cormack expressed their hope for continuation of a good cooperation between the two states.
