Chairman Zvizdić Congratulates Independence Day

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić extended sent a congratulations message to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of March 1, Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

“Respectable citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina,

Few days ago we sent to the European Commission 655 answers to additional questions form the European Commission Questionnaire, by which we successfully finalised the most complex phase of the European integrations process and fulfilled requirements for getting a candidate status. Four most successful years are behind us as to the European integrations, and we do our utmost to accelerate also the NATO integration process.

We have displayed a strong will and determination to become a part of great European family of states and secure permanent peace and security, as we had done so 27 years ago on taking decision on sovereignty and independence of our single homeland. In that, our values and aims remain unchanged: Bosnia and Herzegovina as a sovereign and independent state in which citizens enjoy equal rights and freedoms.

Today, when we successfully lay out the European road of our country, I proudly congratulate you March 1, the Independence Day of our sole homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina”, reads the congratulations message of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH.
