Chairman Zvizdić and Minister Jusko with Delegation of German Entrepreneurs

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met today in Sarajevo with a delegation of the Association of German Economy Committee for Economic Relations with Eastern Europe (BDI), led by tis Executive Manager Michael Harms. 

Chairman Zvizdić informed the German Entrepreneurs on the economic and political developments in Bosnia n Herzegovina and priorities of the Council of Ministers of BIH. He stressed the progress Bosnia and Herzegovina made on the European road, as well as positive indicators of economic development realised over the past two years, which came as a the product of the reform processed undertaken. He emphasised that the Council of Ministers of BIH works continuously on the improvement of business environment a, and informed German entrepreneurs of the comparative advantages of business-making in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Executive manager Harms said he is impressed by the reform processes in BIH and priorities of the council for Ministers of BIH, turned to economy and economic development. The German entrepreneurs stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina is already now the most important partner-provider from the region to German companies. They briefed the chairman of preparations of a digital summit of entrepreneurs, scheduled to be held in the next spring in Sarajevo.

Chairman Zvizdić thanked to the Fr Germany, especially to Chancellor Angela Merkel, as well as German entrepreneurs for their continued support to the Euro-Atlantic integrations and economic development of BIH. He underlined that the FR Germany is one of the most important economic partners to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Transport and Communications of BH Ismir Jusko, who informed the German entrepreneurs of the digitalisation process and development of the transport infrastructure, especially of the construction of the motorway on the Corridor V c.
