Chairman Špirić Receives Rabbi Baker

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H Nikola Špirić received Rabbi Andrew Baker, representative of the OSCE Chairman for Fight against Anti-Semitism.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers concluded that the B-H has developed the awareness on the Golgotha of the Jewish people in the World War II.

 

Chairman Špirić expressed his conviction that the Jewish community would continue contributing to the building of our society in the spirit of agreement, tolerance and mutual respect.

 

Špirić informed Rabbi Baker on the current political situation in B-H, in the light of challenges faced by BiH in development of its democratic society.

 

At the meeting, they discussed a possibility of studying the Holocaust in secondary schools in B-H, as well as the issue of recovery of property taken away by the communist rule following the World War II.
