Chairman of Council of Ministers Talks with WB Country Director for B-H

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H Dr. Nikola Špirić received Country Director for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Regional Coordinator for South-East Europe Jane Armitage. 

The meeting dealt with the fiscal coordination and general Budget adoption, in addition to the required continuation of structural reforms.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers informed the World Bank representatives on attempts to reach an agreement, through the Fiscal Council, on the B-H Fiscal Balance and Policies Global Framework for 2012-2014.

Chairman Špirić assessed that a more conservative approach to state finances as necessary taking into consideration the effects of global economic crisis.

The meeting touched upon the implementation of on-going World Bank projects in B-H. It was concluded that the current rate of placement is among the best in Europe and Central Asia regions.
