Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Nikola Špirić received in Sarajevo the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Hungary János Martonyi, who was in his first visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Špirić and Minister Martonyi accessed relations between the two countries as good and friendly. Chairman Špirić used the occasion to invite the Prime Minister of the Republic of Hungary Viktor Orbán to an official visit to B-H.

Chairman Špirić informed Minister Martonyi of the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting an importance of inciting an internal dialogue and compromise as a sole way for solving the outstanding issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Špirić thanked for the assistance and support extended thus far by Hungary in the European Integration process of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially through the implementation of the Declaration on Promotion of B-H Integrations to EU, by which the Republic of Hungary reaffirmed its readiness to transfer to Bosnia and Herzegovina its knowledge and experiences it obtained in its own EU accession process.
