Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda thanked to the Organisation Board, led by the Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of BIH Damir Ljubć and other representatives of BIH Institutions for successful engagement in the organisation of the International Meeting for Peace on September 9-11, under the patronage of the Council of Ministers of BIH.
- The Council of Ministers of BIH allocated KM 100,000 for the organisation of the International Meeting. I am pleased that the Council of Ministers of BIH hha financially and technically assisted organisers of the Meeting, the Community of Sant’Egidio from Rome and religious communities in BIH, to promote jointly the most meaningful values of nowadays, which are peace, co-existence and tolerance, this was underlined at the press conference of Vjekoslav Bevanda and Minister for Human Rights and Refugees Damir Ljubić.
According to Minister Damir Ljubić, the Intenational Meeting for Peace titled “Living Together Is the Future – Rreligions and Cultures in Dialogue”, gathered 400 high officials, and the opening ceremony was attended by about 2,000 guests. During the meeting, 27 panel discussions will be held, with the about 3,500 participants.
- We are proud for we were able to prove ourselves as good hosts, stated the participants at the press conference, while thanking to journalists for their professional following of the International Meeting for Peace.
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda used the opportunity to express his thanks to members of the Armed Forces of BIH who take extraordinary efforts in fire fighting activities in BIH.
- I would like to use the opportunity to thank to the Government of the Republic of Croatia for its free of charge assistance in fire fighting. This morning again, the 10th time upon my after my appeal, a Canadair which extinguishes fire instantly was sent to extinguish fire in the canyon of Jablanica, Chairman Bevanda stated.
Chairman Bevanda informed media on the status of fulfilment of EU Integrations related commitments undertaken in Brussels on June 26, 2012.
