Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda and Newly-Appointed Ambassadors of BIH: Better Exchange of Information Key to Diplomacy

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda held a meeting in Sarajevo with newly-appointed Ambassadors of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to whom he congratulated for the appointment and wished them success in their diplomatic representation of BIH at 14 destinations in the world. 

Chairman Bevanda expressed his belief that the newly-appointed Ambassadors will work in the best interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a view at its affirmation abroad.

“The Council of Ministers of BIH is open for an improved exchange of information . I am confident that you share my views on the importance of diplomacy and I hope that we will work jointly on opening ways for BIH entrepreneurs in the world.”, Chairman Bevanda said, and expressed his belief that the Ambassadors will represent credibly our country and protect its interest in the world.

The newly-appointed Ambassadors highlighted the importance of improvement of two way communications and better flow of information, and expressed their support for activities in relation to furthering of economic diplomacy.

The meeting was attended by the following newly-appointed Ambassadors: Bisera Turković (Kingdom of Belgium), Branko Kesić (Israel), Jusuf Pušina (Republic of Bulgaria), Emir Poljo (Kingdom of Norway), Ahmet Halilović (Kingdom of Netherlands), Darko Zelenika (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan), Jadranka Negodić (Washington-USA), Željko Jagnjetović (Hungary), Edin Dilberović (FR Germany), Igor Davidović (EU-Brussels), Mirsada Čolaković (OUN-New York), Tomislav Leko (OSCE, UN Office and other international organisations-Vienna), and Consuls Hrvoje Kanta in Istanbul and Brane Pećanac in Chicago.
