Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH Talks with US Ambassador

Chairman of the Council f Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked today with US Ambassador in BIH Maureen Cormack, where he briefed her of the current economic and political developments in BIH. 

Chairman Zvizdić talked with Ambassador Cormack on reform measures defined in the Letter of Intent to the International Monetary Fund and on benefits Bosnia and Herzegovina will enjoy from the implementation thereof. Zvizdić also informed the Ambassador of the measures the Council of Ministers took in connection to MONEYVAL and FATF, and the reminder of   Action Plan- related obligations to be realized soon.

Ambassador Cormack congratulated to Chairman Zvizdić and the Council f Ministers of BIH the completed Defence Review and adoption of Regulation on Medicines, saying that these are the important steps for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Zvizdić and Ambassador Cormack discussed further steps for MAP activation, implementation of Reform Agenda measures and fostering of regional cooperation.

Chairman Zvizdić informed Ambassador Cormack of a visit of Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn to Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Dec. 19, 2016, when Chairman Zvizdić will get the questionnaire of the European Union. He also informed the Ambassador of a Summit of the Central and Eastern European countries Prime Ministers (CEI), t be eld in Sarajevo, on Dec. 12-13 this year.
