Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vjekoslav Bevanda received in Sarajevo today Ambassador of the FR Germany in BIH Urlike Knotz, who congratulated him for his appointment for the Chairman, expressing a commitment of the German Government to support Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Council of Ministers of BIH will through its devoted work, try to arrive to a Draft Budget, said Chairman Bevanda, underlining that the adoption of the State Budget for this year will be a test of readiness for implementation of needed reform measures.
Chairman Bevanda reminded that the Fiscal Council of BIH adopted unanimously a decision on the Global Fiscal Framework for 2012-2014, and decision on renewal of the Stand-By Arrangement with the International Monetary Fund.
Concluding that the relations between BIH and FR Germany are very close and friendly, Ambassador Knotz said that the cooperation the two states will be continued through the Development Bank (KfW) in the areas of renewable energy, environment and waters.
At the meeting they agreed that Chairman Bevanda should meet with a delegation of the Group of Friends of Bundestag, which will be in visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina in early May.
