Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda and Ambassador of Japan in BIH Hideo Yamazaki talked in Sarajevo today on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Chairman Bevanda thanked to Ambassador for the assistance japan has been extending to Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1996. This way this state has become the major donor in BIH. He informed the Ambassador of BIH’s efforts to move along the path of the Euro-Atlantic integrations, which would open the way for inflow of more significant and higher quality investments. Ambassador Yamazaki said that Japan will continue to support Bosnia and Herzegovina on this path, and that it will support the processes to secure better future for all its citizens. He expressed his hope that in the period to come, the overall political and economic environment would improve thought the country, which would allow the linking of two countries’ economies and increased number of visits of Japanese tourists to BIH.

Chairman Bevanda and Ambassador Yamazaki expressed their content for very good bilateral relations between the two countries, and underlined the importance of improvement of regional dialogue processes, which would be a meaningful factor on the path to the European Union.
