Chairman of Council of Ministers of B-H Congratulates May 9

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr Nikola Špirić congratulated to B-H citizens May 9 – Day of Victory over Fascism and Europe Day. 

“Marking the Day of Victory over Fascism, we pay tribute to all anti-fascists, due to whose heroism contemporary generations have an opportunity to develop their future based on genuine values of freedom, equality and tolerance.

Anti-fascism managed to join forces of immeasurable range around common values and aspirations and to save this civilisation from the global threat.

Victims of anti-fascist fight must not ever be forgotten, and affirmation and cherishing of anti-fascist values of freedom and humanity must persist permanently!

It was on the foundation of anti-fascist victory of May 9, that the idea of the untied Europe was born, and this date thence bears a special significance, in the light of commitment to European values and our determination to become a part of a great European family as soon as possible”, reads the congratulation of Chairman Špirić.
