Chairman of Council of Ministers Hands Over 4G Licences

The licences for the use of radiofrequency spectrum for service provision via mobile access systems were handed over to representatives of the BH Telecom, jsc Sarajevo and Public Enterprise Hrvatske Telekomunikacije, jsc. Mostar, while Telekom Srpske, jsc Banja Luka will get the licence subsequently.
Chairman Zvizdić said that in the next one year time, about 60 per cent of inhabited territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be covered by the 4G network and that the telecom operators will secure 90 per cent coverage fo territory in the next five year-time. He said that the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to benefit from advantages of the G4 network as soon as middle this year.
The solemn ceremony of handing over the licences, held in Sarajevo was addressed by Manager of the Communications Regulatory Agency Predrag Kovač, who spoke on the benefits of introduction of G4 network. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Communications and Transport of BIH Saša Dalipagić.
