Chairman Bevanda with Ambassadors of Romania and People’s Republic of China

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevnada met in separate meetings with Ambassador of Romania in BIH Filip Teodorosku and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Dong Cunfeng. 

On these occasions, the Ambassadors expressed their satisfaction for BIH would take part at the Second Summit of State Leaders of China and Central and South Europe Countries and to be held in Bucharest on November 23 and 14,  2013.

They stressed BIH show through its efforts decisiveness to join the European Union, which is a great contribution to creating a strong ties towards both the EU and China.

Amabssador Cunfeng said that Chairman Bevanda would on that occasion have a chance to hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of People’s Republic China Li Keqiang, to discuss a direction of future cooperation between the two states. They agreed that next to the political cooperation, priority would be placed on strengthening of economic and trade cooperation, Advantages of BIH in the energy sector and possibility for cooperation in this sector were underlined. They also said that the Summit of Prime Ministers represent a traditional platform for cooperation and communication, as well as for a deliberation on the topical economic and political issues.

Chairman Bevanda expressed his pleasure for the up-coming meeting in Bucharest and  bilateral meetings with Prime Ministers, underlining that BIH is on its way towards the European Union, and added that that such an event would be a good chance for establishing even better cooperation with counties participating in the Summit, including with the People’s Republic of China.

Their attendance at the Summit has been already confirmed by 16 Prime Ministers, while the Third Economic Forum will be held in parallel with the summit, is expected to attract a considerable number of entrepreneurs.
