Chairman Bevanda Talks with Ambassador of Republic of Poland

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda received today Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Bosnia and Herzegovina Jerzy Chmielewski, who congratulated him to his appointment for Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH. 

Chairman Bevanda informed Ambassador Chmielewski of the current situation in BIH and activities as regards the adoption of the 2012 BIH Budget. He said that the Budget calls for public spending reduction and a series of savings, in line with the 2012-2014 Global Fiscal Framework and conclusions of the Fiscal Council of BIH.

Ambassador Chmielewski handed over to Chairman Bevanda a letter of Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Donald Tusk, indicating that Poland will continue to support Bosnia and Herzegovina on its euro-Atlantic integrations.

“We are ready to share our experiences from the system transition and EU and NATO integrations processes. I believe that the friendly and candid relations between our states will develop, both bilaterally and at the international level, in an improved dynamics,” reads the letter of Prime Minister Tusk.

Ambassador Chmielewski also handed over to Chairman Bevanda an invitation to a meeting of Heads of Governments of Central Europe and the People’s Republic of China. The meeting, in form of a round table, will be held in Warsaw, on April 26, 2012, on the occasion of Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China Wen Jiabao’s visit to the Republic of Poland.
