Chairman Bevanda Talks with Ambassador Moon

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevnada talked in Sarajevo Today with Ambassador of the USA in BIH Patric Moon. 

On this occasion, Chairman Bevnada congratulated to all US citizens the re-election of Barack Obama for President and thanked for the official call of the Secretary of State Ms Hillary Clinton to Bosnia and Herzegovina. He informed Ambassador Moon of the current activities of the Council of Ministers of BIH, especially he highlighted preparations of next year’s Budget, formation and start of operation of a body for development of effective coordination mechanism, thematic sessions of the Council of Ministers of BIH devoted to the European integrations, etc.

Ambassador Moon expressed his hope that the Council of Ministers will soon start working in a full capacity and that early appointment of Ministers will contribute to stability in BIH. He said that the notion of the USA is that needs of citizens would be meet, and added that in budget planning, a due care is necessary to be taken of security of citizens and of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a whole.

“We are opted for improvement of all segments of BIH Council of Ministers’ work, and we are at your disposal. We congratulate to your capability to take further all issues that are a challenge in deed”, Amabssador Moon stated.

Chairman Bevnada and Ambassador Moon discussed the Action programme for NATO membership and activities under the Road Map, as well as a prospective deployment of police units in Afghanistan to take place next year.
