Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vjekoslav Bevanda at today’s closing panel titled “A Deal for A New Age” addressed to participants of the “Summit 100” - a regional business leaders conference in Montenegro.

In his address Chairman Bevanda spoke of the importance of strengthening of private entrepreneurship as a generator of development and employment. He stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country of unused potentials, especially energy ones, with its lowest rate of use of energy resources in Europe. He added that major infrastructural projects in the region, like Motorway along the Corridor V c and Adriatic-Ionian Motorway are interesting to potential investors.

Chairman Bevanda emphasised that he views the anticipated entry of the Republic of Croatia into the European Union as a development chance for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a number of production liens linked to the CEFTA market are expected to move to Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is an additional unused resource, namely young and educated people, and that it should be presented adequately.

Chairman Bevanda pointed at regional linking and strengthening of cooperation of political actors of the region as the only way forward to a safe and stable social environment, which is a precondition for higher influx of foreign investments and faster economic growth.
