Chairman Bevanda and French Ambassador in BIH Roland Gilles: French Companies Interested for Construction of Corridor V c 

They assessed that the relations between the two states are good and friendly and that the economic cooperation needs to be further enhanced. In that context, Ambassador Gilles announced the “Day of Information on BIH” to be organised by the French Embassy, emphasising that there is interest among major companies from the Republic of France to incest in BIH, especially in the area of road construction.

Chairman Bevanda welcomed the initiative of the Embassy, saying that the road construction projects on the Corridor V c of the Adriatic-Ionian Motorway and the energy sector are the areas where foreign investors have an open and equal environment concerning their investments.

Chairman Bevanda expressed his optimism in view of the 2012 BIH Budget adoption in the Parliamentarian Assembly of BIH, stressing that BIH cannot afford to be on temporary financing regime again.

Both sides concluded that the Sejdić&Finci ECHR Award needs to be implemented in its full capacity as soon as possible, which would open the new European chapter of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after the Stabilisation an Association Agreement take effect.

Thanking to the Republic of France for its support to date to BIH, Chairman Bevanda sent his congratulations to the newly-elected French president Francois Holland.
