BIH Increases Security Measures

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić, together with his Deputies, Ministers Mirko Šarović and Vjekoslav Bevanda, held a meeting today with Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies in BIH Mirsad Vilić and Director of the Intelligence-Security Agency of BIH Osman Mehmedagić. 

They discussed the security situation, with a focus to yesterday’s attack at the US Embassy in Podgorica. It was requested for security measures to be lifted at the highest level and to increase engagement of security agencies’ field staff. Directors Vilić and Mehmedagić said all police and security agencies will increase security measures to the level higher than usual, and emphasised that there are no information that might potentially cause panic among citizens.
