The Fiscal Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina agreed at today’s session in Sarajevo that the Entities should supplement their respective platforms for negotiations with the IMF and provide them urgently to the Fiscal Council Advisory Group for forwarding them to Washington for consideration.

The session concluded that the Fiscal Council Advisory Group, preparing expert proposals, made a move forward in fulfilment of requirements for a new arrangement with the IMF.

The Entity Governments need to supplement their respective platforms, concerning primarily the social sector, which would be followed by negotiations with IMF, World Bank and European commission delegations.

Other than Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Chairman of the Fiscal Council Vjekoslav Bevanda, the session was attended by Entity Prime Ministers Nermin Nikšić and Aleksandar Džombić, Finance Ministers of BIH Nikola Špirić, the Federation of BIH Ante Krajina, and Republika Srpska Zoran Tegeltija. On behalf of the Governor of the Central Bank of BIH, the session was attended by CB BIH Vice-Governor dr. Radomir Božić and Mato Lučić, representative of the Brčko District of BIH.
