BIH AND SERBIA DESIROUS TO SOLVE THE ISSUE OF MISSING PERSONS

The two states thereby accept to take all needed measures without delay towards solving of all cases of persons unaccounted for. The international cooperation will include the exchange of information and documentation on missing persons, on mass grave sites, exhumation and identification processes, as well as facilitation and speeding-up of procedures of handover of remains to families of deceased, transport of remains and provision of other forms of assistance to families of missing persons.
TO PREVENT RISKS TO MEHED-PAŠA SOKOLOVIĆ BRIDGE IN VIŠEGRAD
Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Adil Osmanović and Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia Snežana Bogosavljević Bošković signed a Protocol, which will regulate the issue of joint action for preservation of the Mehmed-Paša Sokolović Bridge in Vošegrad, a monument dating from the Turkish Empire period, and which connects the two banks of the River Drina.
For the purpose of preserving of the universal value of the Bridge, measures to be taken by BIH and Serbia will include exchange of information on activities affecting water management regime, and which might bring to exposure the stability of the bridge stability, in addition to measure-proposing to competent bodies.
ENVIRONMENTAL POTECTION AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPEMNT AGREEMENT
Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Šarović and Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Snežana Bogosavljević Bogdanović signed an Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BIH and Government of the Republic of Serbia on Cooperation in Areas of Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development.
The two states agreed under the Agreement to cooperate in transfer of European legislation in the areas of environmental protection, climate change, air and water protection, management and treatment of solid waste and conservation of nature. The Agreement provides for the establishment of a joint implementation committee.
INTENSIFIED COOERPATION OF BIH AND SERBIA IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Minister of Communications and Transport of BIH Slavko Matanović and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia Rasim Ljajić signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Government of the Republic of Serbia on Cooperation in Areas of Telecommunications.
This way the cooperation between the two states will be improved for development of broadband networks and technology and process of transfer from the analogue to digital broadcasting of terrestrial TV programme, and management of radio-frequency spectrum. It will also be intensified development of new technologies in the area of telecommunications, including the joint cooperation in international organisations, such as joint research projects, to be provisionally applied as at the date of signing.
SIGNED DECLARATION ON COOEPRATION IN EXPORT AND IMPORT OF ARMS AND MILITARY EQUIPEMNT
Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Šarović and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia Rasim Ljajić signed a Declaration on Cooperation in Export and Import of Arms and Military Equipment and Dual Purpose Goods between the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia.
