Bevanda Talks with Austrian and Slovenian Ministers

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda talked today with vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria Michael Spindelegger and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Karl Erjavec. 

During the talks, a full support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path towards EU and NATO was vowed. Chairman Bevanda informed Ministers with the current situation in BIH. He said that the Council of Ministers of BIH has been over the past period focused on the Budget adoption, as well as on the adoption of the Law on Census and Law on State Aid, and added that only their implementation will make them a credible result. The same goes for the implementation of Sejdić&Finci ECHR Award implementation.

The Ministers congratulated to Chairman Bevanda to progress made in the past period, saying that the crucial issues from the European Union prospect are the adoption of Budget and implementation of Sejdić&Finci ECHR Award.

“Following the Budget adoption, our priority concern will pertain to securing support of all levels of authority for a high quality fiscal policy. In this country, a dialogue and consideration have no alternative. We need to focus on economy, put our energy capacities in function, and give a chance to private entrepreneurship”, Chairman Bevanda said at today’s meeting.
