Bevanda – Milanović Meeting

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH talked in Dubrovnik with Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović on international agreement on borders, as well as on the road of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards the European Union. 

At the meeting Prime Minister Milanović said that a lot of effort was invested into the process of defining the international agreement on borders, and that he is decided that all the problems currently on the way to solution finding should be removed as soon as possible. Chairman Bevanda and Prime Minister Milanović vowed their support to all joint projects, including the construction of bridge over River Sava near Gradiška, They concluded that this investment is extremely important, agreeing that tis implementation needs to be stepped-up. At the meeting it was stressed that the construction of the Dubrovnik 2 Hydro Power Plant is of a strategic importance for both states, the implementation of which should be launched as early as possible. Finally, Prime Minister Milanović said that these two countries have their joint interests and that Croatia will assist Bosnia and Herzegovina on its way to the European Union.
