Bevanda: Linking BIH and Diaspora’s Potentials Is Mutually Beneficial

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevnada took pat at the opening of the 2013 CONNECTO Business Conference titled “Economic cooperation with Diaspora”, where he addressed to participants, business people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora. 

Chairman Bevanda stressed the importance and potentials the diaspora has in the globalised world for the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because the diaspora, as a hub of high-level experts in various areas, represents an invaluable wealth for us.

“This Conference represents an excellent opportunity for linking of potentials for both domestic and emigrant business communities for the mutual benefit. It serves as a juncture of unused capacities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and know-how and resources of diaspora’s, and it is a great contact opportunity for entrepreneurs from BIH and diaspora to grow into a high quality and long-standing business story”, Chairman Bevanda said in his address.

The 2013 CONNECTO Conference is a part of a wider concept of enhancement of business relations with the diaspora, aimed to increase production in the region and make a breakthrough to new markets for BIH companies through initiation of contacts between domestic entrepreneurs and those from the diaspora, with a purpose to use the synergy of their resources, knowledge and energy to create new business opportunities for new job creation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The 1013 CONENCTO Conference in Mostar – Economic Cooperation with Diaspora, which gathered about 300 participants, is being held under the auspices of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda.
