Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda met in Sarajevo with Speaker of the Assembly of Montenegro and President of the OSCE Parliamentarian Assembly Ranko Krivokapić.

The meeting discussed the European way of BIH and Montenegro, emphasising on this occasion that both states will assist its neighbours on that road. They agreed that the bilateral relations are good, but that there is a space for their further improvement. They stressed the importance of finalisation of defining the 700 m long demarcation line between  BIH and Montenegro, by which the last outstanding issue of demarcation between the two states would be solved.

Chairman Bevanda informed Speaker of the Assembly of Montenegro Krivokapić of recent talks he had with Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans and Republic of Croatia in London, about the importance the construction of the Adriatic-Ionian Motorway has for the entire  region, which would eventually open a new window of possibilities for the improvement of economic, touristic and trade potentials.

Speaker of the Assembly of Montenegro Krivokapić said that readiness for cooperation between BIH and Montenegro exists, as a better future needs to be created, not only for these two countries but for the region in a whole.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Montenegro in BIH Dragan Đurović.
