Bevanda – Gašparović Meeting

Chairman of The Council of Ministers of BIH met in Sarajevo with president of the Republic of Slovakia Ivan Gašparović. 

During the meeting, Chairman Bevanda commended good political relations and cooperation between the two countries and stated a need for more effective approach to economic cooperation and foreign exchange.

President Gašparović expressed readiness of Slovakia to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European integrations road, and expressed hope that his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina will provide a new impetus to an higher quality cooperation across all levels.

“BIH enjoys Slovakian support on its way to the European Union and I am convinced that you dispose of all capacities needed to fulfil the aim. You have to undertake a full accountability for your future”, said the President of the Republic of Slovakia at the meeting.

Chairman Bevanda welcomed holding of a Business Forum Bosnia and Herzegovina – Republic of Slovakia, saying that meetings of business people and entrepreneurs between the two counties and discussions on the improvement of level of economic cooperation are extremely useful and important for both states, and that they should contribute to enhancing economic and trade cooperation.

The meeting with President Gašparović was attended by Prime Ministers of the Federation of BIH Nermin Nikšić and of Republika Srpska Aleksandar Džombić.
