Bevanda – Ali: Incentive to Private Entrepreneurship for Citizens’ Better Quality of Life

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda met today with Director of the Islamic Development Bank Ahmed Muhamed Ali, with whom he talked on creation of more favourable business environment and possibilities for entrepreneurship promotion. 

Chairman Bevnada thanked to Director Ali for his sensibility towards our state and to support extended by his institution to BIH over a number of years, and informed him of the activities undertaken by the Council of Ministers of BIH on creation of fiscal consolidation and stability of the state.

Dierctor Ali commended success of the Sarajevo Business Forum, underlining that the Islamic Development Bank is ready to enhance cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period to come, adding that the presence of a number of sovereign funds at the Forum reflects the interest for BIH. He said that the Islamic Development Bank is interested for the area of entrepreneurship and that the support programmes in place are possible to advance further. He said that these programmes might help in solving the issue of unemployment of young people.

Chairman Bevanda said that the projects and investments in them are the real potential of BIH and that it is necessary to design projects of general significance. Further to that, Chairman Bevanda stressed that it is necessary to encourage private entrepreneurship, as a vehicle of economy and to improve quality of life od citizens.
