Chairman Zvizdić briefed the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey on the current political and economic situation in BIH and the region. He said that developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina are in the positive trend, that a considerable progress was made in creating positive business environment through reforms and approximation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU. He said that the most important political aims of Bosnia and Herzegovina are the maintenance of peace and stability and speeded economic development through European integrations. He added that MAP activation would be a strong message for stability of BIH.
Deputy Prime Minister Simsek said Tukey sees Bosnia and Herzegovina as a friendly country and that he wants the prosperity and progress of our country. He added that Turkey will always support BIH and it advocates most strongly the MAP activation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They discussed modalities of promotion of cooperation in the agriculture, transport, industry and tourism sectors, and made remark on modalities of financing and construction of Sarajevo – Belgrade motorway. They considered prolongation of Turkish credit lines for returnees, and extension thereof to development of start-up companies and SMEs.
Chairman Zvizdić thanked to Turkey for support and prolongation of export contracts for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
